Yesterday, on their one-year anniversary, my dear friend Anette was proposed to by her boyfriend Rune, and I got a happy happy happy sms from her saying "He proposed!!!! :) :) :) :)" Congratulations, you two!!! So here's a little photo of the future Mr and Mrs Stølås! For a detailed description of the proposal (which was done in a very cool way, btw), see Anette's blog - link on the righthand side here. Definitely worth a look - but it's in Norwegian, so only Norwegians will be able to read it. For the rest of you, you'll just have to trust me - it was very cool! Anette - I'm looking forward to meeting up for dinner later, getting all the details! ;) I'm so happy for you!

Life at the candy shop is probably great, but I wouldn't really know. Due to exams and a bad cold I haven't worked for a couple of weeks, and as I'm taking off to see my parents for a few days next week I won't be back at work for another couple of weeks yet... (feeling terribly sad about it.. really.) I don't think we have too many American imports, though - just Maltezers, and maybe a couple of other things.. You'll have to come by and check it out! (Thursdays are generally good days for such an activity.)
